Mohican Trail 100
He's done it - Mike has just finished the Mohican Trail 100, a grueling 100-mile run in Loudonville (Ohio).
THE NEXT EVENT

The Race4innocence Continues!

Running across the Sahara desert, biking across Death Valley, running 100 miles… so what’s next?

Swimming, of course. This summer Mike will swim 22 kilometers across the Strait of Gibraltar, from Morocco to Spain.

For Mike, it's just another part of his Race4Innocence to raise awareness of the problems of child pornography on the internet, and to raise enough funds to fight this evil by shutting down 21,280 websites and saving 21,280 children.

Thank you for your support for this cause!

RACE4INNOCENCE: MEET CORINA AND ANA
Corina, Ana and the photographer

The perpetrator had a lure for Corina and Ana. He was a photographer and wanted to take photographs of the children as "models." What child wouldn't be seduced by that? Every child's parents tell them how beautiful they are and how special they are. Children are easy prey for them.

This man was sexually abusing prepubescent girls and filming the assaults.

Through reviewing a 21-minute video and enhancing the images, the Center was able to identify where the acts were occurring. The investigation left no stone unturned including a review of motor vehicle files, military and police records. Investigators visited countless schools in the effort to identify the child victims based on the photos.

Working with law enforcement in many countries, ultimately the Center was able to identify the children in the video. Corina identified the offender as a neighbour who frequently paid children to visit his apartment. Ana said that the perpetrator had hundreds of videotapes featuring the sexual abuse of young children. The search continues worldwide for additional child victims. The offender was apprehended as he prepared to flee, and is now in custody.

According to Corina and Ana, he approached them to “model” bathing suits and lingerie. These photo sessions led to the sexual assault of the children, who said that the abuser gave them money, took them to restaurants and purchased other “gifts.”

We cannot actually display child pornography and show you how terrible it is, but these images are real images of the real child victims taken by the sex offenders, but they are not examples of child pornography. The offenders take lots of photos of their prey, many of which are innocent and part of a process to break down the inhibitions of the child so that they can move on to more extreme photos. There must be actual sexual activity and content for it to be illegal child pornography. We disguise the eyes of the children to protect their identity.
